Warranty

ASP Systems are covered by the ASP Manufacturer’s “Return to Base” two (2) year warranty.

Warranty statement: Aussie Onsite warrants this product, for its life to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. If a defect is found, our entire liability and your exclusive remedy shall be, at our option, free repair or replacement. For warranty service, contact 1300 36 93 93 between 8:00am and 8:00pm Monday to Sunday, Aussie Onsite have no liability for any incidental or consequential damages. This warranty does not apply to normal wear or damage from abnormal use, misuse, abuse, neglect or accident. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.

Aussie Onsite will repair any faulty item or component covered by this agreement, or will replace the faulty item, component with a similar, equal, remanufactured or better item or component. In repairing the system, Aussie Onsite may elect to replace parts with new or reconditioned parts, or replace the entire unit with a new or reconditioned unit. In the event of replacement, the replacement unit will be warranted for the remainder of the two (2) year period or thirty days, whichever is longer. While every effort will be made to facilitate speedy and timely repairs to the equipment covered by the agreement, replacement components are the province of the manufacturer. Aussie Onsite is excluded from responsibility or liability of any sort for any delay by the manufacturer in processing the claim.

The warranty or maintenance agreement shall not apply to defects resulting from the following causes: improper or inadequate maintenance by the end user, unauthorised modification, operation outside the environmental specification for the product, or from maintenance other than by a Aussie Onsite authorised service person, natural or personal disaster or acts of God, and is not liable for damage caused by software virus attack or power surges, power spikes and brown outs, and these causes are specifically excluded. An inquiry to your insurance company, about this type of event may be justified.

Loan equipment does not form part of this agreement and is specifically excluded. Standby equipment is available at our normal rental rates.

Service calls caused by computer virus attack are not covered and will be charged at our normal commercial rates. User caused and finger faults are not covered and will also be charged at our normal commercial rates. Power surges, power spikes and brown outs are not covered and will also be charged at our normal commercial rates.

Software and data recovery is the user’s responsibility. Backups must be current and available. Aussie Onsite will not be held responsible or liable for software data, program data, or losses caused by system or hardware failures, but offers its substantial resources for data recovery and explicitly excludes liability for software or data.

Recovery, restore or transfer attempts will be made and offered at our normal rates. Every effort to recover the data will be made, but this work is not guaranteed.

Please note: the original invoice must be produced for all warranty claims.
